All about corticosteroid dependence
Corticosteroid dependency is one of the issue that cause irreversible state of chronic illness – Bronchial asthma. It comes with time and increase of the dosages. And it works like every other drug – alcohol or drug addiction. In both cases people suffer more and come to the line of the life treatment issues with complicated end.
What is the definition of Corticosteroid dependency?
Citation: “Steroid withdrawal syndrome is “an objective syndrome resembling true adrenal insufficiency and characterized by fever, anorexia, nausea, lethargy, malaise, arthralgias, desquamation of the skin, weakness, and weight loss occurring, with highly variable grading”.

When you take your asthma inhaler, Are you aware of it? Are you aware of the dosage you take any time and the frequently usage? Because if you are not aware of it, you can become dependent and you will require more and more of those corticosteroids. And then you will visit your doctor, and what will you do you get next drug’s recommendation for a more powerful chemicals then the previous?
